- Shailputri –
Shailputri means the daughter of Mountain or Himalayas. As we’ve heard that most of our sacred saints & sages, had gone to Himalayas before their spiritual mition. In higher mountains we can get those pure & peaceful vibrations & atmosphere which we can’t get at the lower planes. That’s why every/ most of seekers of God once in their lifetime have had visited to Himalayas or hills to boost up their spiritual & mental energy level.
- Brahmacharini –
Everyone is aware that Brahma is God itself, & God & its power are always one, like fire & its quality of hotness thus is Brahmcharini. But if coming to basic of this deeper meaning Brahmachari means the person who is celibate. Celibacy of mind & body is not only important but it is must for every Yogi who wants to realize the Supreme truth, because through the conservation of sexual energy a great power in you called ‘Ojas’ developed by which mind can understood the hidden deep meaning in the holy scriptures which a layman can’t understood. So by practicing celibacy the person can easily attains God that’s why the most of the saints & prophets were celibate throughout their life like shree Ramkrishna Paramhansa, Meerabai, Paramhansa Yoganand, Swami Vivekanand etc.
- Chandraghanta :-
Here, Chandra means moon. The quality of moon is to provide peace & cool effect to eyes & mind, & Ghanta or bell, signifies the sound of holy bell. It is said in Yogic scriptures’ that the universe is created by God from the sound of ‘OM’ or in Bible it is said the ‘word of God’, & doing the nadhbrahma Sadhana, the sound of God is heard by the sadhak in the form of sound of bell, means sound of holy word ‘AUM’ is listened by practitioner in its final stage of realization in the form of ringing bells (In the beginning of vadhbrahma sadhana when various sounds like veena, flute, etc are heard in the intial stages but at the end the holy sounds of bell is heard.)
- Kushmanda :-
It is said that by the laughter of Gooddess the whole universe is being created. This is very clear that the God is totally peaceful & alone & so by its omnipotence, for its entertainment he created this whole universe which is called Maya or illusion just as a cowweb creates web by its mouth, works on it & again dissolves it in itself.
- Skandamata –
Skandamata is said to be the mother of Skanda or Kartikeya the son of Shankar & Parvati. Here the main word is ‘Mata’ or ‘Mother’, As we know that here, in this universe, the most touching & near to the heart relationship. Among creatures is being said. So, it is of the mother & son. If we go more deeper, then we’ll find that the mother is sufficient alone, there is no need of father, neigther for birth nor for take care. In earlier periods also we see the case of Kunti, the Yudhisthir. Bheem, Arjun we brought up by her, similer is the case of Mother Marium & Jesus. Now days also scientists have proved in many cases that the baby can take birth by mother also. So, is the greatness of mother.
- Katayayani –
It is named as the goddess was brought up by the Sage (Rishi) Katayayan this signifies that the higher thoughts of purity, divinity & love of God can be brought only in the chaste & stoong mind & heart of so called sages only, because the layman is so much engrossed in his worldly affairs that he can’t even think of thoughts relating to God. It also signifies that if the divine soul decides to take birth on earth, they choose only the divine & pure hearted parents, see the case of Kaushalya – Dashratha Vasudev-Devki, Yasoda-Nanda or Marium & Joseph.
- Kaalratri :-
It shows the hidden power of women. Women is thought to bee weak & bounded in limitations but the naked pictures of Kali signifies that if you exploit or challenge the power of women. Then if its anger broke out & crossed its limits then the proudy & lustful man would come under feet. We bow down to you O’mother Kali!
- Mahagauri :-
Mahagauri represents the beauty & softness of women through which the whole male dominating society attracts towards her but in the wrong lustful way which is totally wrong. This is the reason to show that the mahagauri or the most beautiful women should also be looked by you as your divine mother.
- Siddhidatri :-
The deep meaning hidden behind after keeping Siddhidatri at last & after Mahagauri is that, a Sadhak after worshipping the women in the outer world or the serpent power in himself, in many ways, the toughest is to conquer the lustful is to conquer the lustful image in women, but if by continuous sadhana & prayer to God if you killed Kama or lust as the Lord Krishna told in holy look Shrimad bhagwadgita that, ‘O, Arjun kill this enemy Kama, forcibly, who destroys your outer & inner hidden powers.’ This is a great sutra.
If a sadhak conquers finally his enemy lust, then by the saving of tremendous power through Brahmacharya, the mother nature will open all his blessings for you in the form of ‘Riddhi & Siddhi’ or subtle powers which makes a human a superman. But after getting such divine powers you should not misuse it but by utilizing thouse power for goodness of others through ‘niskam-kaomyoga’ you must free yourself from your ego of ‘g’ ness, & thus can attain the ultimate goal of your life i.e. ‘Libertaion’ or ‘Moksha’ – Jai Maa!
